Radisson Blu Udaipur Palace Resort and Spa, Udaipur
We went Udaipur for the first time during March, 2019 to celebrate our 10th Marriage Anniversary in Rajupatana Style. Celebration should be done in some special way on this special occasion, so we decided to stay in Radisson Blu Udaipur Palace Resort and Spa, near Fateh Sagar Lake. This was my first experience of staying in 5 star hotel and what an unforgettable experience it was to stay in this elegant hotel.

Radisson is an exquisite royal hotel with white magnificent architectural structures and domes, gorgeous garden all around, graceful courtyard, stunning designed swimming pool, fascinating rooftop restaurant with lovely view of tranquil Fateh Sagar Lake and the beautiful Aravalli range, huge sparkling crystal chandelier at the reception area, amazing room with luxurious bathroom, night view of this hotel is just mind blowing.

There is a Sitar performance organized by the hotel on the rooftop restaurant at dinner time. You can enjoying medolious Sitar in this serene environment by having your delicious dinner, your candle light dinner will be more romantic when you will feel the cool gentle breeze blowing from Fateh Sagar Lake.

While entering the hotel for the first time, you will be welcomed by a garland, chandan tika on your forehead and a cold welcome drink. Hospitality of this hotel is just fantastic, very cooperative and warm behavior of all the staff. Security guards are dressed in full Rajasthani attire with huge moustache. There is a wonderful traditional Rajasthani folk dance performance organised by the hotel every evening in the decorative courtyard made with brilliant combination of white and black marble. Moreover you can enjoy the Rajasthani folk song throughout the day by a group of singers and musicians. There is also a camel ride organised by the hotel which will give you a tour to the hotel.

Now time for the gala breakfast!! Complimentary breakfast is sumptuous and delicious. Breakfast is more enjoyable when to listen to Rajasthani folk song by their live musicians and singers. Buffet breakfast is server in the Neel Mahal Restaurant.

Now look at this amazing two-tiered swimming pool below. I have never seen such an amazing symmetrical architecture of any swimming pool before. Simply Superb!! Just beside the pool there is a provision for beauty parlour, spa and gym. There is also a restaurant beside this pool named “H2O” which has a dance floor and bar where you can have party and night out with your friends.

Rooms are elegantly designed, spacious, comfortable bed, bathroom provides a bathtub and is very neat and clean, view from the room of this hotel is just amazing whether you get a room with Fateh Sagar Lake view or scenic view of the landscaped hotel grounds and pool or the nearby jungle.The hotel is surrounded by lush green big trees and beautiful garden.The most exciting part of this hotel is the terrace where there is an exquisitely decorated rooftop restaurant & bar “Aravali Roof Top Restaurant” and “Aangan Terrace Bar”. The view from the terrace is just a big WOW!! You will be able to get full view of Fateh Sagar Lake surrounded by the magnificent Aravalli Hills.

Destination weddings and big official meetings and events are also conducted in this hotel and we were lucky to witness one Destination Wedding of two families during our stay in the hotel. Wedding decoration was organized brilliantly and colorfully.

So this was an amazing experience to stay in Radisson Blu Udaipur Palace Resort and Spa, near Fateh Sagar Lake. In future, I would like to visit this place again and stay only in this hotel for a longer period of time. Hope you all enjoyed our journey too. See you soon....BBye 🙂
