Udaipur the most romantic city of Rajasthan for me and many. We went to Udaipur for the first time on March, 2019 and this time I was accompanied by my husband to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary. We started our journey from Kolkata to Udaipur by flight via Delhi and reached around 3 pm, checked in hotel, quickly freshened up and started our Udaipur tour around 4:00 pm. Udaipur has three major side : Fateh Sagar lake side, Lake Pichola side and Dudh Talai Lake side. I will recommend you to divide your Udaipur sightseeing tour side wise, this will save your time and journey. In this blog, I will be sharing my experience of Fateh Sagar Lake side tour on our first day of Udaipur and we choose to travel by an auto rickshaw. I have also mentioned the time, so that it will be easier for you to plan your tour accordingly.
4:30 PM: Saheliyon-ki-Bari.
This is a beautiful garden accompanied by a fountain, lotus pool, marble domes and surrounded by gorgeous bougainvillea flowers. This garden is built by Maharana Sangram Singh on the bank of Fateh Sagar Lake for the royal ladies. The Queen with all her maidens used to come here and spent their leisure time by relaxing in this garden.

5 PM: Sunset Boat Ride @ Fateh Sagar Lake
One must truly enjoy this amazing sunset boat ride at Fateh Sagar Lake. This is the biggest lake of Udaipur. Believe me it will be an amazing experience in the middle of the lake when you will see the sun setting in the mountain. This will be the unforgettable moment of your life!!

5:30 PM: Neheru Garden
This beautiful garden is in the middle of Fateh Sagar Lake.
6:30 PM: Moti Magri
Moti Magri or Pearl Hill is a hill on the bank of Fateh Sagar Lake. There is a bronze status of Maharana Pratap sitting on his loyal horse Chetak, which pays homage to the Haldighati battle against Emperor Akbar. There is a museum inside Moti Magri where you can see some outstanding paintings of Rani Padmavati, Meera Bai and battle of Haldighati. One can enjoy the sunset from this point also.
7:00 PM: Light & Sound Show at Maharana Pratap Memorial
There is an astonishing light and sound show on the history of India and price of ticket is 500/- per person.
7:30 PM: Jagdish Temple
This is a very old temple of Lord Vishu which reflects one of the best architectural structure of the Mewar dynasty. There are two big elephant to welcome the visitors at the entrance. We were lucky to see the Sandhya Aarti which starts from 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm.
8:30 PM: Rajasthani Thali for Dinner @ Nataraj Restaurant
You will get traditional Rajasthani thali here, food is served unlimited and all the items are delicious and very cheap. I highly recommend this place.
